An Adventure

The kids had been bugging me for an adventure, without grownups. They packed a bag with supplies, including snacks, stuffed animals, and games. Then, while mom shopped at King of Prussia Mall, I took them to Valley Forge National Park. Armed with a map, they followed a trail while Dad followed at a discrete distance. We met up at the artillery park.

  1. Wonderful photos. Artillery Park makes such a nice backdrop. All of the stone and wood cabins, not to mention landscaping, look so good in the photos, too. (The artist coming out in me.) What a lovely thing to do with the children. You are a fantastic Dad. Me, I'd rather have been shopping with Cindy. The gift shop was my favorite thing at Valley Forge. :D
PS: Dad wants to know if you took them to the covered bridge and the tower.
